Join us for our general club meeting and an intimate look at the art of mehndi, or henna art with local artist Kalpana Adesara. Please note this demo will take place in Room 9 (rather than Fellowship Hall) at FPC.
Kalpana Adesara is a highly skilled mehndi artist with over 25 years of experience in the craft. Recognized as Cupertino’s Distinguished Artist in 2021, she has built a reputation for her intricate and meaningful designs. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Kalpana has honed her expertise in mehndi, creating stunning designs for a wide range of events, including weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, engagement parties, birthday celebrations, and corporate events.
Known for using only pure, natural henna, Kalpana blends tradition with innovation. She skillfully integrates mehndi techniques into her paintings and even transforms everyday objects, such as candles and wooden boxes, into works of art.
