Painting this picture of my newest nephew, Joel! The face is always the hardest!

Theresa Zamborsky

I've been working on and off on this 16" x 20" acrylic painting of an image I've had kicking around in my head for awhile. It's not completely finished yet, but I'm calling it "The Afterlife: Where To Next?"

Title: Portrait of a Woman

Medium: Oil on canvas

About the artwork: A profile portrait of a woman in a pink qipao, a blossom tucked in her hair, set against sheer curtains and a vase of wildflowers. I worked in soft, layered brushwork to capture a quiet, elegant moment — the play of light on fabric, petals, and skin.
