WENDELL FIOCK

“Equestrian Headdress” Ink and Acrylic on Gesso Board 16x20

First time using Gesso board from Hobby Lobby (prices very reasonable). I like the hard ground, especially when using pen and ink. Native Americans always dressed their horse with feathers.

THERESA ZAMBORSKY

"Self-Portrait with that Damn Saturn" 32 x 40 acrylic painting

I'm not an astrologer. But I started hearing about Saturn's current influences on personal and worldwide issues that tends to create obstacles, challenges, disappointments, and limits. It requires, on our part, perseverance, accountability, commitment, and learning lessons. We can recognize our patterns through introspection, put in the hard work, and build spiritual strength and resilience from these ongoing or repeating life circumstances and karmic relationships. This theme gave me the chance to include multi-layered symbolism, which is what I love to do with my paintings. I intentionally painted a very HONEST expression on my face, not one of the typical Instagram smiles we always use. And I just had to include my own personal devil, giving him the same eye color as mine!

MARGIE MATTHEWS

I wrote these words about my love of swimming then painted this picture to go with it. Prints made nice Christmas presents for family members!

Praise Be Water. 10x10. Oil on canvas

HADI AGHAEE

Just finished “Samanoo – A New Year tradition”, Acrylic, 30” X 48”. A new 18” X 24” painting is on the easel and in progress.

Carole Cameron

“Other painters have explored the idea of painting the sky, but I thought I would give it a go. I wanted the crows to be looking at her and wondering what the heck she was doing.”

Painting the Sky Acrylic 25 X 25

I painted this as a surprise Christmas gift for a friend of her beloved Chihuahua, Kenny. She lives in a small space so I painted it appropriately small.
