“No large painting project yet, I am working on a pastel pencil drawing. There is still work to be done on this face! I rather work on portraits than balloons! It is very hard to maintain a smooth balloon border when coloring around them!”

Wendell Fiock

“Chose this one to get you all in the spirit of Halloween. Used a sponge to create background texture. Black is acrylic, with ink to finish with the dashes and dots. Was a request from my wife for over the mantel."

Carole Cameron

“I did this painting 2 years ago, and it had some items painted on it that were meant to represent aspects of me. But as it turned out it looked kind of stupid, and all you could focus on were the things I painted over the top. It always bothered me when I walked past it but I figured I was stuck with it. So I put it back on the easel and painted them out which I didn't think I could do. So I guess that's why when you go to the museum you always see artists that have multiple dates on their paintings. I'm so happy with it now. 24” x 24"

Sarah J.L. Nguyen

“You’ll see this one in the show, but I finished this mixed media piece that is about my artistic journey. I’d still be in that box, hiding at home, if it weren’t for the community I found once I had some help venturing out."
